Chemicals like pesticides and metals can be poisonous to humans, plants, and animals. A toxicity evaluation is a calculation of the total amount of exposure to a chemical (e.g., by swallowing or breathing) that can cause harm to the body.

Maya completed calculation-based risk assessments and senior review for a toxicity study focusing on proposed small mammal abatement methods at Camp San Luis Obispo. Developed numerous Ecological Risk Assessments as part of the biological evaluation for sensitive ecological receptors exposed to a suite of chemicals of potential concern (COPEC). The assessment strictly adhered to EPA ecological risk assessment (ERA) methodology.
